The Fort William First Nation Employment and Training Services initiative offers you the client many specific programs to meet your employment goals and an extensive inventory of services to assist you in attaining those goals.

Our program has the following objectives:

  • To assist Fort William First Nation members to find employment and obtain skills upgrading and pursue self-employment opportunities through a variety of support programs and services.
  • To assess the skill levels required for these opportunities and to recommend a course of action for the client to acquire those skills.
  • To bring our members together with real employment opportunities through our updated resource centre.

Who Can Apply?

All Fort William First Nation Members and Employers.

All private sectors, for profit businesses from most sectors, band/tribal councils, public health, educational institutions and municipal governments are eligible. Employers must be willing to enter into a Contractual Agreement with the Fort William First Nation.
